On October 16–17, industry experts, energy managers, and technology providers will gather at Aass Brewery in Drammen for a unique seminar on compressed air efficiency. The event, hosted by AMA Compressed Air in collaboration with CALMS, Enova, and Kiwa, offers companies the opportunity to benchmark themselves against the best in class when it comes to energy management.

Why Compressed Air Efficiency Matters

Only one percent of companies in Norway can identify and report key parameters for energy efficiency in their compressed air systems. Those that do gain a major competitive advantage, saving significant amounts of electricity while running more efficient operations. With rising energy costs and stricter requirements from both ISO standards and authorities, systematic energy management has never been more critical.

This seminar will demonstrate how companies can:

  • Automate reporting on energy efficiency
  • Allocate and manage costs on compressed air systems
  • Comply with national and European energy directives
  • Achieve 15–20% lower operating costs than competitors

Program Highlights

Across the two days, participants will engage in expert-led sessions, case studies, and practical training. Some key topics include:

  • Compressed Air Management (Gorazd Bregar, CALMS)
  • Energy Management in Practice (Anita Blomberg, Kiwa)
  • Optimal Production of Compressed Air (Kim Gustavsen, AMA Compressed Air)
  • SMART Leak Control (Daniel Winkler, CALMS Nordic)
  • Energy Directive and Monitoring Tools (Enova & CALM)

In addition to technical insights, the program includes networking opportunities such as a joint tasting at Aass Brewery and a shared dinner, making the event both educational and social.
