Exciting New Features on CALMS: Enhancing Efficiency & Connectivity
At CALMS, we’re constantly evolving to provide new and better solutions for managing and optimizing compressed air systems. We’ve listened to your feedback and have worked hard to implement new features that make monitoring, auditing, and managing systems more efficient and user-friendly. Let’s dive into our latest updates!
1. Gray Zones & Manual Entry
Our new manual entry interface is now available directly on the Inspect > Trend page as a modal window. Acting as a user-friendly wizard, it guides you through the process of entering manual data, making it easier and more intuitive than ever before. The previous manual entry functionality has been fully integrated into this new setup.
We’ve also introduced a new feature to mark data as invalid, creating what we call “gray zones.” These gray zones are designed to handle incorrect data that may impact system metrics, such as specific power. For instance, this tool is ideal for filtering out data recorded during the initial equipment setup, where readings may be erratic or inaccurate. This way, you get a more accurate picture of your system’s performance, without distortions from unreliable data.
2. Action Cards Improvement
We’ve revamped our action cards to function more like a Trello-style board, making task management and tracking a breeze. You can now link action cards directly with outsourced services, streamlining workflows and allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with external teams. It’s never been easier to manage tasks, from maintenance to repairs, all within CALMS.
3. Activity Leaderboard
Competition can be a great motivator! Our new Activity Leaderboard feature lets you see who’s spent the most time managing a system. This not only boosts engagement but also fosters a culture of proactive management, rewarding those who are actively involved in system optimization. Who will be the top performer in your team?
4. Audit AR Interface
Remote auditing just got a major upgrade! Our new AR interface now allows users to connect their AR goggles directly to CALMS, projecting a live view from the goggles to the platform. This enables remote training, real-time system walkthroughs, and audits from any location. Welcome to the future of compressor maintenance, where distance is no longer a barrier.
5. New Report Templates: Air Quality
Monitoring air quality is now more efficient than ever. We’ve introduced new report templates specifically designed for air quality assessments, providing clear, detailed, and customizable insights. These templates will help you track and maintain the highest air quality standards across your systems.
6. AI Model Training & Integration
Artificial Intelligence is here to make your job easier! We’ve integrated AI into various parts of our system, including System Reviews, System Support, and Audits. Our AI models are continually trained to provide more accurate recommendations, quick solutions, and insightful data analysis, helping you maintain an optimal and efficient compressed air system.
7. Wireless Sensor R&D Connectivity
Say goodbye to tangled cables and complex wiring! Our new Wireless Module allows you to connect sensors and equipment wirelessly to CALMS. This development is not just about convenience; it’s about efficiency and safety, reducing installation times and making it easier to maintain clean, organized compressor rooms.
8. Enhanced EMCS Control & Redesigned CAL-PM Boxes
We’ve fine-tuned our EMCS control algorithms to enhance system performance, providing better precision and stability. Additionally, the redesigned CAL-PM boxes now come with larger, more user-friendly HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), giving you greater control and a clearer overview of your systems’ operations.
Why These Updates Matter
These updates represent our commitment to innovation, user experience, and efficiency. Whether you’re managing a single compressor room or multiple systems across different locations, these new features are designed to make your job easier, faster, and more effective. At CALMS, we’re not just keeping up with industry standards – we’re setting them.
